A note from the author

The inspiration for this book was my amazing daughter who loves to sing and learn through music. I have spent many years in the classroom, dedicated and passionate about teaching young children. After years of trying to grow our own family, my husband and I were finally able to adopt. God truly blessed us with the most wonderful little girl. Music has always been a part of her spirit and personality. She was instantly soothed as a baby with lullabies and able to clap to simple rhythms as a young toddler. In our home, not a day goes by without music being played for sing-alongs or dance parties. This book is dedicated to her and the happiness she has brought to our family. It is my hope and prayer that children, parents, and teachers will use this book as a way to make learning the calendar a joyful and unforgettable experience!
